[URGENT](1) Garment Manager
Location: Chiang Mai, Thailand
- Key Responsibilities:
- Will be working as Factory Head for Garments export house
- An in-depth knowledge and experience of handling minimum 250 machines on assembly line
- Production Management and Quality Management knit garments in reputed export house
- Costing, Material handling, Floor Handling, Management of Manpower and Machines effectively, Fabric allocation, Finishing
- Managing over all Operations of the production unit for garments
- Shortlist suppliers on basis of Technical and Commercial capability
- Product sampling, sampling feedback
- Ability to do right costing
- Shall be dealing with material planning & scheduling with Fabric/trims stores
- Follow up of average of fabric for cutting Department
- Make T&A plan, Co-ordinate and supervise, optimum output, Plan and set lines
- Inspection with QA department and buying house
- Job Requirements:
- 5-10 years experience in garment/textile factory
- Able to work in an office and factory floor
- Abilities to resolve human conflicts between various cultures and various environment
- Detailed oriented and able to prioritize tasks
- Ability to multitasks
- Proactive on problems salving and resolution oriented
- Ability to lead through clear and consistent actions
- Ability to work in a cross functional environment
- Ability to self manage/work independently
- Proficiency in Excel and Outlook
- Thai and English language skills
- Essential Tasks:
- Daily and weekly meeting with various departments
- Review production schedules
- Resolve problems that staff cannot fix by themselves
- Report progress to GM
- Audit internal processes
- Teach & train production process to staff
- Special Physical Requirements:
- Light lifting
- Organizational Relationships:
- Reports to owner
- Cross functional interaction with team in Canada and USA
- Interactions with Thai customers and suppliers
- Salary Range:
- 0 to 0 Baht per month based on experience
